Email Communications
Emails to Library Patrons
Patrons who sign up for Creativebug via your custom landing page have the option to receive emails from Creativebug inviting them to check out new, themed, and live classes. Patrons can choose to opt-in or opt-out of emails at the time of their account registration or later via their account settings. This is our default setting.


During the initial setup of your library’s configurations, we provided the choice to opt-out on behalf of patrons or to move forward with the default setting (patrons decide at signup). If your library ever needs to change their preference for patron email communications, please reach out to the Creativebug team at libraries@creativebug.com.
Emails to Library Staff and Library Admins
Each member of your staff who will be promoting and using Creativebug will need to create an account. By creating an account, they'll enjoy access to classes, create custom watchlists for programming and much more!
Additionally, staff can sign up to receive monthly emails from Creativebug featuring new classes and upcoming live stream events to promote to your patrons and plan upcoming programs. Please note emails from Creativebug will only be sent after a Creativebug account has been created and you’ve emailed the Creativebug team with a request to be added to the email distribution list.
